What we do

Fantastic Rides arranges chauffeur-driven transportation. Your ride is performed by an independent, licensed and insured transportation operator that we select. We take your request, confirm the price, collect payment and stay your point of contact.

Information we collect

• Trip request details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, number of passengers, trip type and any notes.
• Payment details: when you pay, your card is entered on and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only the last four digits, card type and payment status.
• Account details: if you create an account to view your trips, your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash; nobody at Fantastic Rides can read your password, and we will never ask you for it.
• Messages you send us by phone, text or email.
• Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived at our site, collected through Google Analytics cookies.
• Address suggestions: when you type an address into our quote form, the characters you type are sent to Google to suggest matching addresses.

How we use it

• To quote, book, arrange and complete your ride, including sharing your name, phone number, pickup and drop-off details and trip time with the operator and chauffeur assigned to your trip.
• To take payment, send receipts and handle refunds.
• To contact you about your request or ride by phone, email or, if you agreed, text message.
• To keep our site secure, prevent fraud and improve our service.
• To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

• The transportation operator and chauffeur who perform your ride, only the details needed to do it.
• Service providers that run our business for us: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages and calls), Google (website hosting, analytics and address suggestions) and our email provider. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a passenger, chauffeur or the public.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the text message box on our quote form, or text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Fantastic Rides at the number you gave us about your quote, booking confirmations, chauffeur and pickup details, trip updates and receipts. These are service messages, not marketing. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of booking.

We do not share, sell or rent your mobile number or your text message consent with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies that our site needs to work and Google Analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, and you can still request a ride.

How long we keep it

We keep trip and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require (generally seven years). Quote requests that never become a booking are deleted after 24 months. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Contact us using the details below. We may keep records we are legally required to keep.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for everything on our site, keep your information on access-controlled systems, and never store full card numbers.

Children

Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
